So who is your gas provider? I am assuming that like here in Georgia there are several companies.

Mine is Centerpoint....I think most peoples in MN are. My cousin has a differant one though, I think Connexus or something like that.

Mine is Minnesota energy resources, but I'm in southern mn so that might make a difference too.

There's centerpoint, there's xcel, there's connexus...there's quite a few. It's all dependent on the area you live in. When you move, just call your county and ask them who the gas provider is in your area.

There is only one company that has the contract for the area you live in.

it also will depend on who your heat source is. I have always had bills from centerpoint and excel energy however my heat used to be run by electricity so my excel bill would be larger but now it is run by gas so centerpoint is the provider for that.

I have Xcel. When I lived in Michigan we had a choice but not here in Minnesota.
