We use Wells Fargo.
We've thought about using a credit union for everything. I have one account w/ a credit union.

I just closed my wells fargo account- they were definitely evil. They charge fees on top of fees on top of fees and customer service is crap.
We opened our new account through Financial ONE credit union and so far I love it!

What kind of changes are they making, Coral? That's one thing I hate about WF...their information to the customers is not consistent...I truly believe that any changes like that should be sent by mail whether you utilize E-statements or not.
Any kind of Credit Union or smaller Community Bank is going to treat you more like a customer than a number. I work for a small community bank and I can tell you that our customers here are very spoiled and treated with the utmost respect, as it should be in any banking situation. I worked for WF before and hated it. We call them the Evil Empire here.
However, I think that a lot of people need to remember that banks are not here to serve and coddle you. They are a business, too. All fees and service charges are disclosed at opening (other than changes, which can be frustrating) and are agreed upon when you sign that signature card. If banks did not make money, they would not be able to lend money. Credit Unions have a little bit more flexibility because they are tax exempt...however, that too could be changing in the upcoming years and may leave a lot of disgruntled customers when they have to change their rates and service charges to be more equal to the banks out there.

I agree with Merr on this one.
Wells Fargo is evil.
Then I transfered to TCF but they kept chaning their rules and trying to charge me stupid fees so I finally left.
Now I bank with Bremer and have absolutely NO issues with them. You can use US Bank ATMs with Bremer too and those are easier to find then the actual locations depending on where you are. My husband used to deposit his paycheck in the US Bank ATM because it was up the street from our house.
