Sooo....on my excursion to Target today, I found that a LOT of their toys are on 70% clearance. I have now obtained 1/3 of the boys' Christmas gifts for 10% of the price. Woohoo!

Have not started Christmas shopping. I can usually accomplish mine in an afternoon though. We have never bought a large number of gifts per person. We also don't buy for the extended families--just kids. Now that Bunsette works in a kid toy/craft store, that shopping will be even easier AND with a discount.

I make calendars for 6 people for presents and I have all the supplies, I just can put them together until I have all the pictures I have taken. I take pictures through Thanksgiving of this year, so all the pictures are from this year expect christmas. I have no idea what I will get my kids this year. I would love to stop with other family members, because all we have been doing is gift cards. Whats the point of that?

It's really hard to Christmas shop when 2 of my DDs have birthdays the end of September. I did pick up 2 toys on clearance to use for b-days or Christmas.

Ha, no. I wish I were that ambitious. Life's been a little busy for me right now.

I was very proud of myself one year because I carried a list of all the kids I had to buy presents for and around bdays I would go to the store and try to pick up at least one xmas present I found on sale. By doing that throughout the year I was done before xmas.
Sadly things have been really tight for us I am still worrying about getting all the uniforms/school supplies/glasses before school starts. Then my boys have bdays in Oct & Nov so I have to think about that first.

We get done in a few hours and usually a day or so before Christmas. Gifts are never the priority with us and we usually just get books, so it is super easy. Also, there are plenty of second hand books, so the price is pretty minimal.

I already picked up a couple. I keep our Christmas lists on the computer and occassionally update it plus I have the kids' lists in a notebook and if I think of something I'll add to it. Ds says he has a list started for Christmas.

How do you find stuff on there? I have looked sooo many times on many different sites and in stores and never find anything my boys would like :-(

I check it everyday. Also got the train from the second cars movie. That one is still there. Shipping can get pricey so I have to make sure the savings is more than the added on shipping price.
