Now is usually about the time that I will start picking up random things here and there. I am almost always done by Thanksgiving. I HATE fighting the Christmas shopping crowds.

I like going to the malls around christmas, but not to shop..just to see all the decorations... I always make it a goal to be done early, but it never happens. This year I shall prevail!

My problem is people don't tell me what they want or I change my mind too much on what to get them so I wait and wait and wait :-) I am usually 95% done by mid December though! I do most of my shopping online as well so no crowd fighting for me!

I was actually thinking about Christmas presents for some people yesterday. I have not bought yet though. I will eventually start. I tend to buy the presents that I or my kids want to buy for others rather then asking what they want. I think it is more fun when you don't know what you are getting.

If I have the money and find a good deal, I'll pick something up now. Usually I don't really do any shopping until closer to the holiday. I do boots on the night of the 5th of December also so we need to have little gifts for that too. Most of the time I am done by November though.

Yes, I have started. I'm trying to proactive about it this year and also to spread out the cost a bit more.

smalltown.. that's kind of my thought too.. if I start now or actually I started quite a while ago... then I won't have to spend all the money at one time. I know I'll end up spending the same probably, but maybe not if I can find great deals and sales ahead of time.

HOLY SHMOLEY.
I am so impressed, I haven't even thought beyond Labor Day at this point. Well, except for thinking about school supplies and clothes for DD1. I am SO in AWE of you ladies!!! What amazing organization and thinking ahead! I'll probably start shopping mid-November.
