What “Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day” Is Really About And Why Christians Should Be Upset About It I came across this article, and as a Christian find it absolutely true and just thought I should share. People have skewed impressions of when/where/how to stand up for their beliefs. Sure, you may not agree with homosexuality - I understand that. But, ask yourself: Does making such a public display of dis-contention represent the love of Christ to these people? ...at all? I have homosexual friends. I want to show them the pure love of Jesus. Can I do that while jumping on the latest "anti-gay" bandwagon and marching around like I'm a fighting for something? Hardly. Where is the love these days... THIS IS YOUR GREATEST COMMANDMENT: TO LOVE ME, AND LOVE OTHERS JUST AS YOU HAVE LOVED ME. So, if you dare, take a read and share your opinion. And before anyone jumps on the defense, I am not by any means trying to offend anyone...or their beliefs. But just thought this article was well worded and should be shared with as many fellow Christians as possible to help open your eyes to Jesus again. Amy -- thanks for the link. As a fellow Christian I too try to think about what Jesus did and what he taught. In my opinion, what he had the biggest problem was those "holier-than-thou" judgmental types--the Pharisees and Sadducees--and taught that we first and foremost should love God and love our neighbors. So when Christians of any denomination take a stand, I would like to ask them: does what you're doing show love for God or your neighbor? Or are you blindly buying some hype you've been force fed? 'Cause supporting a discriminatory company seems to me not loving in any way, shape, or form.

If I boycotted every company that supported an opposite position political or religious, to my own... I would never buy anything. A lot of big companies over the years have shared their "opinion," as is their right to do so... just as we do, and people continue to buy their products. I am tired of it blowing up all over facebook...
And I like their sandwiches.... and because I do, doesn't mean I don't have love for others who have varrying opinions or positions or lifestyles!!
