Need ideas to keep my foreign exchange sister

As if my family wasn't crazy enough my mom is getting a foreign exchange student NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!! She is almost 17 from Germany. Seems so sweet. I am excited to have a "sister" and I get to hang with her until she starts school up cuz my rents will be at work! BUT I really want to get her a nice gift. I was thinking a nice picture frame collage to hang her friends and familys pictures up on....but need more ideas! She loves sports but not sure what they are here ya know. Loves music. Typical teenager stuff. THANKS!!!

I think a photo board would be a cool gift! One of those that's covered with fabric and has the ribbons that criss-cross to hold the photos.

Try things that are specifically minnesota as well-- when I was young (grades 7, 8 and 9) we had summer exchange students from Mexico for 2 months during the summer. I wouldn't be surpriesd if she likes to bike around as well-- we also hosted a student teacher from Belguim for a semester when I was a sophonore or junior in highschool
