Ladies, my hubby could really use some prayers right now. About 2.5 years ago he had a brain aneurysm. It really messed him up, but two months after he was fully recovered, able to walk, drive, speak, etc. Well, last night on my way home he said he needed to go into the hospital. The reason being that his balance was off, his vision was getting blurred and doubling, and he just didn't feel right. He does NOT have insurance right now, so I hesitate to bring him in just in case he's just got a nasty cold that is throwing his vertigo off or something.
Anyway...I just ask for prayers today. For healing, for peace, for his aneurysm to not come back. Just keep him in your thoughts, so God may grant us some grace in this situation. We honestly can not afford an emergency room bill, and I just really NEED my husband in full health while I'm in the last leg of pregnancy.
Thanks in advance!

Oh, Amy! How scary. Did you end up taking him in? I will pray hard for you and your DH and family. Have faith. Things will get better.

I have not taken him in yet. he says he feels the same today as he did last night, except his head hurts worse. I have a feeling I might be going to the ER with him soon. I'm really worried.

Hi, Yes, I agree, take him in, especially since he said his head felt worse. Better take him in, can talk to the business office later about cost. Some hospitals have Hill-Burton Funds, which may or may not have been used up for this calendar year. They get new funds at the beginning of the calendar year. (at least this was the case when I needed to use them years ago.) Check out the following about: Hill-Burton Free and Reduced Cost Health Care, See the following websites for more information: www.hrsa.gov/gethealthcare/affordable/hillburton/If you owe bills or need care, contact the department of social services at the hospital where you were or intend to be treated and your county department of social services to see if they can help you. If you need help paying for prescription medications, Partnership for Prescription Assistance www.pparx.org/Hope this may help you.

ok. UPDATE!
Talked to hubby, he sounds MUCH better than he did last night. He said his balance is still off a bit, but his vision has improved quite a bit. His headache is still there, but it's not in once specific spot and it's only when he's getting up, or bending over or something that causes strain on his body...which is good. All in all, it sounds like this may NOT be what I was thinking with the aneurysm....which again is good. He's going to get some more rest, and I'll give him a call here in a little bit. Just wanted to let you ladies know what's going on.
Thank you all so much for your love and support. The last thing we need right now is an ER trip...unless it's for baby! lol

It could be a migraine too. I get blurred vision, dizziness, upset stomach and of course head pain. Praying that is all it is.

He can atleast go in to urgent care for a head xray. I am not trying to scare you anymore than what you already are... When my DD was little she was in dance class. One week another dance mom didn't show up and someone else brought the girl. Earlier that week the other dance mom suffered a brain aneurysm and never woke up the next day. Yes, going to the ER might give you a huge bill but how small of a price is that to pay in the grand scheme of things if you can prevent the worst from happening? At least go into urgent care... please...
