So far this year we have canned: applesauce (the equivalentof 85 quarts--some of them were pints), I canned salsa for the first time today and I did it by myself and it was fun. Pretty much burnt all my finger tips though in the process. That part wasn't fun though.
Not sure if I put this in the right category.

I have never canned before, but I would LOVE to start! Applesauce, salsa, homemade spaghetti sauce, jam... the possibilities are endless... I see all sorts of ideas on pinterest.

This year I did pickled beets, carrots and green beans. All, so far have been a big hit! I wanted to do jam, and pickles, but never really got around to it.....

Nothing I always say I want to can but then I get a little lazy and it never happens haha! Kudos to everyone that does!

My husband made refrigerator pickles this year. They are all gone now.
