Yes, we did turn it on last night and will turn it on again today. Last night I ende up giving him a neb & this morning. I also had him take a steamy shower. His shower was at least 30 min. so I was concerned so I went up there and I open the door and there was moisture on the vanity, fogged up mirror then the smoke detector is going off b/c he had the water SUPER HOTTTT. And now his sister has a cold and she was up most of last night complaining of an owie tummy, throat. She has a red nose. So I got 4.5 hours of sleep last night. For the sake of this family I hope it rains soon.

In our house the AC runs through the furnace. We also tend to have better allergy days when we have the AC/heat on since it filters out alot of the allergens compared to having the windows open. When I was growing up we had a wood stove that we used to heat the house when the electric heat wasn't on. I had horrible allergies because of the wood burning.
Good Luck. Try the honey it seems to help.

I noticed you give DS Zyrtec at night, have you tried giving it to him in the morning? It was recommended to us for DS to take it in the morning, so he gets the benefits of the medicine during the day when his allergies at their peak. Also, keep in mind with the wind, it is kicking everything up from the pollen, dust, etc. Have him shower before bed to get all pollen, etc. off his skin, hair, clothes, etc.
