Totally agree about Max! He's a cross between Aspergers and Spoiled Brat!

Yep, that's their parenting style, apparently! They smother the Hattie and let Max get away with EVERYTHING. And Poor baby Nora always seems to be crying! WTH?!?!?!? Plus, how many times are they going to overreact and insinuate themselves into Amber's love life?

I wanted to scream SHUT UP at them with all the arguing they did in the show last night. I would have muted the TV if the remote was closer!
Why do they keep throwing Amber in bed with every single guy she meets?!?!

Every show needs the "easy" girl I guess. They have gotten more and more dysfunctional over time. They need therapy.

The only thing I don't like about the show is how they ALWAYS talk over each other! SHUT UP! One at a time!
I also could totally feel for Kristine when she was trying to plan the perfect last week with her daughter before college and it didn't quite work out that way.
It wouldn't surprise me to see Amber go both ways, sexually...KWIM?

But she didn't ASK or include Haddie in all the plans. I bet she would have been perfectly happy with the party if there hadn't been so many other things.
I don't really even notice the talking over each other thing much because that's what my family does.

The cast ad libs all of the "family" scenes when it comes to the talking over each other parts. It makes all of it more "real." I agree with Bunsy, if they had actually bothered to ask Haddie what SHE wanted, maybe that final week would have been better for everyone.

Of course, I've never sent a kid to another part of the country for school. Maybe I would panic too and want to suck every moment that I could. I hope I wouldn't!

And Kristine had to feel like she could control SOMETHING! I know that feeling!
I agree about the party. and all the plans.

Finally got to watch it tonight. And good thing, apparently it was going to expire tonight On Demand....seriously 3 days doesn't seem fair to only keep it on for.
Anyway....working w/ teenagers with autism (some w/ asperger's) we hold them accountable for their actions within a behavior support plan, on the show they use his asperger's to allow him to get away with so much.
I found myself more annoyed w/ all the character's neuroses than I was at the end of last year. Maybe I just need to get back into it.

Tonight is going to be a TEAR JERKER!!!
I think the parents are still in the learning stages of how to deal with the aspergers with Max.. I think they feel guilt still also which may be why it seems that there are so many behaviors that go unaccountable for!! Hopefully this season we'll see Max's parents become more comfortable with the aspergers and put their foot down more. it's been bugging me too! lol

Knowing lots of families with kids with aspergers, I understand the fine line between holding them accountable and understanding their idiosyncrasies. It is definitely more amplified than typical children.

That kid big time bugs me. IDK the first thing about aspergers so maybe that's true to form, but he's so very disrespectful. And give the kid some Skittles!
I love this show! I'm so sad about Kristine and her breast cancer! It makes me cry every time!

I can say raising a kid with aspergers is tough and yes they do seem snotty, disrespectful, and down right rude. It is a fine balance some of what I have seen my be a little over the top but for the most part it is pretty true to life. They get things stuck in there head and there is no way to change it or get them to see your point. It is a work in progress. Love this show
