Ooh, I have to totally disagree with you there, Lil! Though I LOVE Jason Ritter, I don't actually like him with Sarah. I think the age difference is too much, their places in life are too different, and the relationship isn't really "fair" to him. I could see him with Amber... LOL!

Anyone else cry a little when they told Hattie the news?

I cried A LOT! When they told Hattie, when she told the family, all of it!
Even when Julia lost it in the kitchen, I cried!

Waiting for DH to go AWAY so I can watch it. I watched Private Practice last night instead.

LC I did too.. I think I had tears throughout most of it... when Amber looked at Kristine, when she came by to help max... just that "look" made me weepy! ugh.

That's fine Ang but then I would say Ray is too old for her even though he has a young daughter who I think should not be THAT young. I feel he should be her dad's age. I just don't really care for Ray Romano I guess.
I do LOVE Matt Lauria though !!!!!
I got teary when Hattie was talking to just her dad over the phone. I lost it at the end when Hattie showed up and they told everyone!

I absolutely LOVE how they do the story telling of the cancer without actually saying anything. I think that just showing the pure, raw emotions of the characters is SOOOO much more powerful for the viewer. Not to mention, it shows awesome acting with realism!

Even my husband commented last night on how great this show is because it displays real emotion.. something that we can really connect with.

Totally agree on the ending and the emotions of every episode.
I wish Julia would have told those men in suits that her kids were WAY more important than any job and she has to give them 110% not her job before she quit!

I'm also surprised at that, Lil. I love that Julia finally came to that realization BUT I wish that she had used that opportunity to tell the suits as well. I felt SO bad for her when she had her panic attack in the kitchen, ugh, I can totally imagine! Oh yeah, and her daughter is SUCH a brat!

I think a lot of that is her adjusting to not being the only child now... which I think is def. true to life!

I know that her being a spoiled brat has been brought up in past episodes but they haven't really remedied it nor addressed it. That's another kid who gets away with being terribly rude.
