I heard that she sells tickets at the event ahead of time for a guaranteed opportunity to speak with her during the event. I'll have to bring some extra cash just in case

FABULOUS!!! I wasn't sure what to expect but I certainly was not diappointed. I did not buy a ticket to get a question asked and my number was not called from the crowd so it is what it is. It's a hectic morning here at the day job so I'll have to try and post more later

I know, I'm sorry! The day job has been super demanding for the past week and by the time I get home I just want to zone out. I haven't forgotten - promise!

I was lucky and didn't have to attend the event by myself - My mom bought a ticket and went with me The seats next to her were unsold so we were even able to sit together. Sylvia Browne is FUNNY!!! Oh my gosh - I never knew she had such a great sense of humor! You saw a little of it on Montel but man, give her a microphone and she has such great wit it was fabulous! For the first hour or so she spoke to the audience. She kind of wandered through a whole variety of topics. She said (for all you worry warts out there) that the world is not going to end in December - the Mayans just ran out of ink and ran out of space to add anything more. But, she also said not to tell anyone that and don't buy any Christmas presents. Then, when the world doesn't end and you don't have any gifts for anyone you can just say "I thought the world was going to end!" and then THINK of all that money you'd save! Tell them "I'll catch you next year!" ROFLOL She also has a new book coming out in December that will explore some celebrities. She encouraged those who didn't want to buy the book to at least go to the book store, flip to the person they want to read about, and save themselves the money. Her publisher doesn't like it when she tells people that After she was done talking to the audience she asked everyone to close their eyes and lead us in a group meditation. It was fabulous. I have a hard time with visualizing scenes but the energy in the room during this session gave me goosebumps. For the second hour she took questions from the audience. IF YOU EVER GO TO A SYLIVA SHOW, and you have an extra $50, go early and you can buy a ticket for a guaranteed question for Sylvia. I don't know how many they usually sell but this one had 20 available. They also drew tickets from the crowd. My number wasn't called but that's okay. I know the answers to my questions anyway. Many people asked about a loved one that had passed, many had guilt that they had not done more prior to the loved one passing away. Sylvia assured them that their loved one is happy - that we, the people here on earth, are the ones living in hell. Those who have passed have no pain, hold no anger towards us, and will meet their loved ones at the time of their passing. Several women asked about trying to have a baby. I found it curious that she told a few that they needed their thyroid checked. I don't know if I knew what to expect with seeing Sylvia but I do know I was not disappointed.

Did you find some of her answers very generic?

You know, there were several generic questions like "when am I going to find a man" to which she answered a time frame and that could be considered generic but I think it really was based on the level of the question asked.
