Greetings. I'm about ready to be home. I miss my bed and family. I do not miss housework.
We went on a London bus tour today. Still too touristy for us. We did get a cruise on the Thames River though. That was fun. It seemed we enjoyed our trip through a large train, underground, bus station. We also got krispy kremes.
It was colder than anticipated. We were both freezing and would have benefitted from gloves and hats. But we survived and are warming up at home for a bit before we head out to pick up our little girl.
Pizza baked here in the flat is the dinner plan. It leaves more time for relaxing a d playing than spending time eating out.

Thanks for the update. I hear you on being ready to go home. As much as I love travel (and I know it's not your favorite) there comes a point when it feels time to be home.
The cruise on Thames River sounds fun.

Although on the other hand I could live like this....just buying food for a couple days at a time, hopping a bus or train when I wantto go somewhere, everything close by.
Time to try to get massive tangles out of c's hair. Ugh.

Dinner complete. Hair 90% detangled. There is no way I can get the rest out without a scissor. I'm not chopping her hair withput her dad's permission. Its a huge improvement.
I finally sat down with dh to go thru my pics. He is uploading them to facebook and then I can go add detail.
We have NO homework but reading tonite. There are many games of uno in my future.

Does she have curly hair? Not sure if you tried it but combing conditioner into dry hair can work sometimes to get tangles out....lots and lots of conditioner. Yay for no homework!

African american hair. I soaked it with conditioner. That is how I manage what I did. The rest I really think will need to be cut. I encouraged her to braid it at night so it is less tangly. I don't think she has been brushing to the bottom regularly.

I have no recommendations on African American hair, my clients that I work with who have hair like that their mom's just want us to keep it short.

Since Carmen doesn't have a living mom, i think she is missing some hair guidance. Dad is caucasian.

Nope. Don't think he will. He is pretty focused on work and C. Maybe when she is older and has her own things to do leaving him with free time. I'm sure he wouldn't even consider that until hes back in the states. Too complicated.
I have no experience with her kind of hair. She needs a few days with her aunts in Mpls.
