It's that time again, time to go back to standard time for a few months. This weekend you need to turn your clocks back or you'll be really early to where you plan on going on Sunday.
Either way, we're getting less and less light. Do you prefer your morning commute to have the light or do you prefer to have it up past dinner time?
I'm not up really early, so I don't notice the morning sunshine, right now I'm getting up with the sun so it's not a big deal to me in the morning. I'd prefer that I have some sunshine in the afternoon so that I don't feel like going to bed before I eat dinner.
So which time do you prefer, standard time where the light is up early in the morning, or savings time where the light is up when you're coming home or having dinner?
If you work an 8 hour shift, you may have the sunlight in your eyes for both commutes.
Either way, enjoy that extra hour of sleep!

my kids are on a body clock schedule haha... so I won't get that extra hour of sleep... they'll just be up an "hour" early!
I'm glad you posted this though because I would've totally FORGOTTEN!!!!

Thanks for the reminder! It'll be nice to have that extra hour of sleep on Sunday, but it is a bummer to get home from work when it's so dark out.

No extra hour of sleep here either. My boys wake the same time no matter what, so instead of 6:30am it will be 5:30am. Yuck!

I hate standard time. I would rather have more light in the evening to get things done.

I like having an extra hour in the morning. It's hard for me to wake up for work in the dark, it makes it so much easier to get out of bed when the sun is already up!

My kids got up an hour earlier than necessary today--it was nice that FOR ONCE I wasn't having to rush them through breakfast and getting out the door!! Hah! (Which also makes me think ... they usually have a hard time waking up so I need to be more strict on BED TIME!!!!)

preston slept til his normal time... so did Ella, so I guess I did get a little extra sleep. I still wish that daylight savings didn't exist.. it's stupid.
