When is it? I seemed to have missed this whole "give to the max day" and the details. I've heard about it a few times, but sheesh, I feel so lost...when did this come out of the woodwork?

I'm supporting my daughter's school Linwood Monroe Arts Plus has partnered with PeaceMaker Minnesota on Give to the Max Day (Thursday, November 15) for matching funds. You may designate your gift to our school through this link: givemn.razoo.com/story/Linwood-Monroe-Arts-Plus-School-St-Paul-MnIt is important to make your donation early!!! The first $9,000 contributed to PeaceMaker Minnesota will be matched dollar for dollar. Contributions will support our anti-bullying efforts especially our partnership with Jo Montie who partners with our students in grades 3 and 4 to practice skills in the work it out route (pause and calm, listen to others feelings/needs, explain your own feelings and needs, brainstorm solutions, choose an action to try). Students also use other strategies like the empathy skills, seeking positive role models, and reflecting/pausing to make thoughtful choices. Jo Montie shares hands on activities, music and books that have received the Jane Addams Children's Book Award. Please consider donating to support Linwood Monroe Arts Plus on Thursday, November 15th! Our Sincerest Thanks, Merrr PTA Secretary

I don't have the money to donate, but I volunteer at the kids school every week. I have plenty of time to give.

Amy it's an idea that started a few years ago. A local non-profit encourages people to give to schools and non-profits and then gives extra money to a list of those who raise the most in various categories as well as $1000 prizes every hour to randomly picked ones. It's a way to give money where you might anyway, but also to maybe get them some more money in the process.
We have so little to give these days, but I pulled together all I could and gave to my son's fabulous school first thing this morning.

I don't have money to give, but I volunteer at my kids' school when I can, plus I volunteer 1-4X a week at our local thrift store.
