We are going to my SIL's on dh's side for thanksgiving. Fine no big deal. I asked her if she wanted to bring anything for food she said no. Fine. She said I should bring chairs though b/c we have a big group 25 this year. Fine. I love to bake/cook so I want to make a desert such as an apple crisp. So do you think I should make it for the party or should I make it just for at home?
TIA

Make it for at home. You asked and she declined.

Well if she declined them the obvious answer is make it at home...not that big of a deal. And of course more for you!

I say make the crisp for you but bring a nice bottle of wine or a hostess gift for her.

If she needed you to bring something she would've asked... so since she said no, then I say, no.

Renee that is a good idea maybe I will pick up some wine to bring. I did make the apple crisp today. It was good. Only 3 pieces left. Used frozen apples. We sliced, froze lots when we made applesauce this past summer.
