I'm just sad. I am almost certain that my employer is trying to find ways to eliminate my job and fire me.
I need your help - what's your favorite website to search for new employment?

Since you're going to school, can they help you find a job? I know some of the colleges have that program. Hopefully you'll still have your job long enough for the school to help.
Otherwise they may have some great resources for you to utilize if they don't have a placement person.

I have found a lot of great jobs on craigslist and governmentjobs.com is a good one, too. So sorry to hear that they are treating you this way. Just remember that whenever one door closes, another one opens and it's usually to a much better place!

I would check the Star Tribune's online jobs section.
Does your field have a jobs search site specifically for your career area? For example, I'm in PR so when I was looking for work I'd go to mnprjobs.com -- maybe your area has its own jobs site.
I would network network network. Make sure you're on LinkedIn, update the summary section with key words and your successes, get lots of people to recommend you, ask to be connected to people you used to work with. Then update your resume and email people you know who might be good contacts ... and then start to quietly let everyone you know hear that you're looking for something new.

Sorry to hear about that, I know how frustrating the job search can be! My favs are lmnc.org (it shows city jobs), craigslist (just to find the jobs, then go on the actual company's website to see the opening). When I was in major healthcare, I liked going on the individual company's websites, there's many hidden gems that don't post on startribune for some reason. Plus i sent my resume out to probably 20 companies that looked interesting just to get my foot in the door, and a lot of the times I could just email it to their HR so I saved on stamps! good luck!

Thank you for all your suggestions! I've been searching but no bites yet (from them, not for my lack of trying). I've got to update my Linkedin profile... I've got experience as an admin assistant and office coordinator but my passion is marketing.
