It was heavy. But very interesting. And very balanced I think. But what do I know?

That's quite a stack Sharon!
Yikes. 13 is too young for FB. My BFF's sister (who turns 11 tomorrow) has an account...

I usually have a decent stack. As I read a few I usually add a few to the stack, so I'm never lacking of the next book.

Sharon, have you ever seen the movie Baby Formula? I found it on Hulu and thought it was interesting. It is filmed like a documentary and it follows these two women who are married to each other and want their own biological children so they make sperm from stem cells and both get pregnant. (One secretly because she was jealous of the other.) It follows the pregnancies and their relationships with their family- one of the moms has gay dads who are super supportive and the other mom has super Catholic parents from Scotland and a really funny grandma. Oh yeah, and the scientists that did all of the scientific research and work to make it all happen. I found it interesting, and funny in a lot of places, and sad. I liked it.
