There is an awesome knitting/crocheting online community called Ravelry.com. You can find tons of patterns, save them to you 'notebook' and upload your projects too. I love finding projects there. Just wanted to share this site with all of you!

Tara I think you just need to come over and teach me I can knit a scarf (but no idea how to finish it and I crochet blankets and scarfs, I really want to do hats

Sara, I can't knit -- I'm hoping my grandma will teach me this winter -- but I'd be more than happy to show you how to crochet. We should start a little crocheting get together. I have SO many projects I want to do, but I never get around to them!

I all up all for a crochet get together I have been able to do single and double when my grandma was teaching me, she then passed awhile awhile back and I got her whole bag with all her books but I have no idea how to read patterns at all. I took a knitting class in burnsville with some other girls last year and that was a fun time
