Currently DS1 and DS2 do not have health insurance coverage. It looks like it could be a month or so before it kicks in.
DS2 has had drainage from his ear for a few days now. It's now brownish pink and he is complaining that it itches. He has had a history of ear infections and has had tubes put in twice and an adnoidectomy.
I'm concerned that it's an ear infection. Has anyone ever taken their kiddo to the Minute Clinic? I'm just kind of curious what the cost will be.

I think it was about $80 when I went. Their website should tell you the prices of various things if I remember correctly.

I went to Target Clinic for pink eye and it was $75. They list the costs on their website.
Hope insurance kicks in soon!

We've used Target clinic for throat cultures and I think it was about $75 each time. We were happy with the care and the speed there.

Target has their prices online. Minute Clinic does not. I've done a little searching and it looks like Minute Clinic may be a little cheaper. DH is taking DS2 there today. No cost is too much, just wanted to be prepared. Thanks, ladies!

We have used Minute Clinic a fair bit. It has been 79.00 each time (except the lab fee for the throat culture once). They are been very good for us! Once when DD had a really weird rash, the practitioner couldn't do anything to help, so she sent us to urgent care and we were not billed for her services.

DH just went to the Target Minute Clinic to see if he had the flu and he said it was $60. One time when I went, they couldn't test me for what they thought I had (pneumonia? can't recall) and they didn't charge me either.

I called the Minute Clinic and they told me $79-89. So DH took him to Target for $75. It was confirmed that the poor guy has an ear infection. Thanks for all of your help, ladies!
