I am curious...of all the weddings you have been to around the cities area what have been your favorite venues? Why was it so memorable? Where did you get married if yo did so in MN? My BIL is getting married and I am in charge of finding a venue here as they live in Hawaii right now. Just trying to find the best, so please go ahead and share your stories and memories!
Thanks ladies!

I didn't get married in Minnesota. I photographed my friends wedding last year on 10-10-10 at 10 o'clock in the evening at the Como Conservatory at the Como Zoo. I had never seen it at night and it was beautiful, a very romantic place to get married at.

We were married on lake Minnetonka at Bayview Event Center. The venue is so pretty and the views of the lake are amazing!

There's a place in Afton, I can't remember, but they offer a river boat or an indoor place. It's BEAUTIFUL (and inexpensive for the indoor place)! Just google afton river boat and it will probably come up.

How many people and what month? Indoor?Outdoor? Church or no?
I got married at the Cathedral, It was Grand! But there are alot of hoops to jump through to get married there--like you have to be Catholic for starters. The University Club or now 312 down town StPaul is really nice. College Club on Summit Ave.

We got married at Majestic Oaks. The have a beautiful outdoor wedding setting. We choose a Christmas wedding and it was just beautiful even in the winter. Summer weddings are amazing there.

This is a little outside the Cities area, but have you ever seen the Munsinger gardens and clemens rose garden in St. Cloud? NOt sure the hoops to jump through, but it IS a public park, may need permission or give notice for photos. It's right along the mississippi and has casual garden with gazebos, etc, and upper garden which is like a formal English garden including a large rose garden and a white garden with all white flowers. Not sure about ceremonies but photos would be great there
