I agree with Debbie! You all are too fancy for me! My idea of simple is a salad or steamfresh veggies. Add a little butter or melt some cheese and your good to go.

We don't eat a lot of veggies here... just carrots, corn on the cob and green beans mostly... I'm pretty picky. I'm with lil... its usually just butter and seasonings other than the carrots.

I mostly just drizzle a little olive oil and sprinkle salt and roast at whatever temp I'm cooking other things.

We aren't too creative either like you all are!!!!
In summer we are more creative cooking asparagus on the grill with garlic, salt and pepper. We do our potatoes the same way on the grill. But, during the winter months we've done potatoes with Italian dressing drizzled on them, steamed broccoli, steamed carrots, and salads usually.

My ma told me once (and ive only tried it with carrots) that if you boil you veggies in broth/water mix lit gives them a nice flavor
