I don't do much at our house except "try" to keep it clean & organized. So I am trying to figure out how to do or start a hobby. Can anyone give me any hints?
I want to try to make a tote bag. My MIL made one I like. I am not good at sewing. I do have a latchhooking project started.
I want to start something & have it to last awhile.
Thanks

Books are always great-- there are also classes in community ed or places like Michael's crafts to learn new things to see what feels right and you enjoy. Whether that be jewelry making, painting, flroal arrangements, etc. I know there is more tha that.

I think the first thing you need to do is to decide what it is that you want to do. Do you like to scrapbook? Do you like crafts? Do you want to learn a musical instrument? Is there a project at home you want to complete like curtains or a new organizational system? Or focus on your strengths: Are you good at painting? Do you like to read? Are you good at knitting?
Once you know what you want to do, then that's when you start your research. With Pinterest and the internet these days, there are always tons of ideas to be searched and tried.

I like to cook, bake, write stories, take pictures.
I really want to make or learn to make a tote bag. My MIL made a cute one recently. I want to make one. I tried to research how to make one earlier today. I might go the craft store this weekend.
I am tone deaf. So not that.
I like to paint crafty wood things.
I like to read nowadays. I like to plan parties. I love to help ppl.
