Has anyone had one of these?? At the end of my first pregnancy my belly button was really sticking out, so I figured something was up. At my check up after I had my daughter, by doctor told me I had an umbilical hernia, but it wasn’t something to be too concerned about. Now I’m pregnant with #2, about 19 weeks and my belly button has been protruding for weeks. I asked my doctor and she said it shouldn’t be a problem unless it becomes painful or something gets ‘stuck’ in there. My belly button has become a little tender over the last few days, so now I’m a little worried. I’m planning on calling my doctor today to see what she says.
I was just wondering if anyone else has had one of these? I assume I’ll need to get it fixed after this pregnancy. Oh the joys of pregnancy!

Never had one myself but my DD2 had one and had surgery to fix it. Hope you make it through this pregnancy okay!

My DD 1 had one at birth. We actually thought she just had an "outie" belly button .... then she got an inguinal hernia and during the consult with the surgeon he told us about the second one behind her navel! So now she has an "innie" -- who knew? Anyway, she never had any problems with her hernias. I'd ask your doctor because it could be a concern or it could be soreness related to your abdominal muscles or ligaments stretching, hmmm ... it's always best to ask! Good luck, I hope it's nothing!
