I actually have TWO friends having babies as we speak and I've been racking my brain trying to think of unique gifts for mom/baby.
I'm pretty opposite from both mommies so it's hard to just go by what I would have liked.
Is there anything people brought you that you thought was a good idea?
Thanks ladies!

If they have a registry I would go by that. Otherwise diaper cakes are awesome!! My SIL did that for a couple of her friends. They were SO cute! I think she spent like $40 on the whole thing. She made them herself. You can either make it or order one. (Not sure from where but you can probably google it or something.)

I guess I could have specified... I'm trying to think of a few nice things to bring to the hospital other than the usual flowers and baby clothes. Something for moms.

Oooh ok... Maybe some cute comfy pants for her (I pretty muched lived in comfy pants for the first year of DD's life lol) or a gift card to her favorite restaurant or to her favorite clothing store so she can do some shopping for herself.

Their favorite coffe drink! Or another favorite beverage of choice. After having each of my girls I craved a Caribou Cooler! DH brought coffee to his sister just after she had her first baby. She still says it was the best gift!

How about a book. I realized with my DS#2 that because it was cold and babies sleep all the time, so I ended up reading and holding baby most of my leave.
