Thanks for sharing that, Sharon.
The horrific things people do to each other just ... so incomprehensible ... there are no words. My BFF and I were talking about that just yesterday--at what age do you talk to your kids about the horrible things in the world, both past and present? I'm sure it depends on the age and maturity of your child, their comprehension level, their own nature. DD1 is such a soft-hearted kid, I think I'll have to be careful about how certain issues are brought up to her. I just need to believe that we as a human race will learn from mistakes and become more loving, kind, compassionate ...

Renee we have and continue to cope with that in different ways A LOT. I would be very interested in a discussion. I think you should start a thread for that
