Has anyone dealt with any hip or pelvic pain during pregnancy? This is my second pregnancy, I’m about 25 weeks and my pelvis has really been bothering me. I assume it’s the muscles/ligaments or something because what really hurts is when I have to lift my legs to do anything. Like rolling over in bed, lifting my legs up and over is painful and difficult. I have to do it very slowly. If I’m sitting on the floor playing with my daughter, it’s very hard to get up from there because I don’t have the strength in my hips/pelvis to help lift/push myself up to standing. I sleep with a pillow between my legs, which doesn’t help much. Walking for an extended period of time, like around a mall, etc. doesn’t feel great either. Yesterday I was really sore for some reason and even getting into the car was difficult because you have to lift your legs to get in.
I’ve asked my doctor about it and she suggested physical therapy. However, as well all know, taking time off work for more doctor appointments isn’t always ideal. I told her I would wait it out and see if it gets any worse. I didn’t have this at all with my first pregnancy.
I’m hoping someone has experience with this and maybe has suggestions for something that may help.

I had hip pain with both pregnancies... but the hyperemesis and crypto were worse so it took a back seat. I just remember taking Tylenol before bed on really bad nights, using ice and sucking it up unfortunately.

I had lots of hip pain with my second pregnancy. I did some physical therapy to learn some basic exercises to help. Stretching and yoga first thing in the morning seemed to be the most helpful. Good luck! Hope it gets better soon.
