Where do you like to shop for elementary age kids' clothes for girls? When my kids were little we loved Carters and shopped there, but now they've outgrown it. We have a hard time finding clothes that are cute, affordable, not too "glitzy" or skimpy or have phrases we don't like such as "Diva" or "Shop 'Til You Drop" or what not! Ugh. Any ideas? Thanks!

We have the most luck at Kohls and The Children's Place outlet for DD1 (she is a size 6 almost 7 in shirts). Sometimes Target too because of their clearance!

I like Target, Kohl's and Children's Place outlet. I also like Once Upon A Child and Kid's Rack(in Champlin). Garage Sales and Thrift stores are another favorite place to find deals.
I like the Circo brand at Target, they tend to have solids and prints for their shirts, shorts and pants. They also run good sales! Clearance is awesome for buying for the next year too.

If it was up to my daughter we would shop at Justice, but that is out of the price range so unless it i find is at a garage sale she is out of luck. i did find a bunch of slothes for her (some from justice) at garage sales last weekend and she liked it all (she is almost 12) I felt pround and hip that I could pick out clothes for a tween and she liked it. WE stick to Target a lot and clearance racks most places.

I pretty much stick to Target and Walmart, although on rare occasion I will hit Sears or Kohls on a whim.
