LOL What is the topic? I'm more likely to read a thesis than go out - but for you I would reverse that!

Thanks Sharon!
The title is: The Role of Meaning in Recruitment and Retention of the Millennial Generation
In my research I focused on the importance of meaning in recruitment and retention (most Millennials are willing to sacrifice pay for more meaningful work), how Millenials define meaningful work, key factors in job satisfaction and interest in growth and promotional opportunities.
It should be helpful information for anyone who manages or works with Millennials which is pretty much anyone in the workforce today.

Actually I WOULD be interested to read that. What years do you use to define Millennial Generation?

I used 1980 to 1999 (some put it starting as early as 1977 and others as late as 1982, but I went with the majority of demographer). the research portion was 1980 to 1994 because those born 1995 to 1999 are still in high school. When it's done, if you are interested I can email it to you

Do something extra nice for yourself too- a spa day, massage, mani/pedi, etc if some of those who can't make it can babysit for you even better. Celebrate your accomplishment with or without others. You deserve it!

I'm glad things are falling into place for a celebration. You deserve it!

Oh man, Deb, I want to be sad with you. What you have done is a huge accomplishment and I feel like we have 'watched' you through it a lot of it. I agree with the ladies, we need a GNO to celebrate your accomplishment. Congrats to you! What a huge deal! Now you get to move on and get a better job and enjoy your family and celebrate life. Kudos! Keep your chin up and be proud!

thanks Cyndy! I have really appreciated all the support from everyone here! We will definitely have to plan a GNO after my thesis is finalized.
