I am contemplating what to wear to 2 HS renuions (dh's, mine). Dh's is next week. I am thinking of wearing: a navy blue dress, peachy cami, lime green jacket that I would leave open. Or, a nice shirt w/ a sweater (black), black dress pants. Or a jean skirt & shirt, blazer. Or my new maxi skirt & shirt.
What would you wear to a reunion? The one I barely know anyone, the other one I know most of the ppl b/c I graduated w/ them.
I am stumped of what to wear.
Thanks much.

Those all sound fine. For me, it depends on the venue--casual or fancy. Then it comes down to what I'm most comfortable in. I don't want to have to worry about my shoes pinching or my skirt riding up, etc.

The first one is somewhat casual, but dressy. The 2nd one is dressy. Not a clue what I will for shoes yet.

Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't do peach with lime green... To your dhs I'd go with dress pants and dress shirt..... yours, skirt (not denim) and dress shirt.
Though bunsy is right, it kinda does depend on the venue... restaurant vs fancy hotel ballroom, ya know?

Last year my DH and I both had our reunions (20 year, gulp!) and there was a range of clothing worn at each. At both of them (one at a hotel venue, the other a nice restaurant) the women were dressed up more it seemed to me, ranging from dresses to skirts/shirts to dressier jeans & tops. The guys were more casual, some in khakis but most in jeans or even shorts. The good news is there's probably going to be a lot of different attire so you'll be sure to fit in no matter what you wear!

For our 10 year reunion (6 years ago, now!) I was pg with DD2. I wore dresses to all three nights (1 for DH, 2 for me) but they varied in terms if dressy-ness depending in the location. No matter what you choose to wear, make sure that you are comfortable in your clothes- nothing makes potentially uncomfortable social situations worse than being self conscious in your clothing.
