DD3 had discovered that now that it's summer and she has shorts on she can put her hands in her diaper! If I don't catch her poopy pants she will get into them and get it all over her hands.....ewwwww! She's almost 2 so I repeatedly tell her not to touch and that it's icky. She repeats it back to me but I'm not sure she is understanding me. Duct tape will not help since she also reaches in the leg area too! I have a few shirts that button in the crotch but I'm not sure that will help either(she has one on today).
Anyone have any other tips for keeping hands out of diapers?

Can you find onesies that will fit her? she wouldn't be able to get in from the top and maybe some of those bike shorts girls wear under skirts and dresses, they are longer in the legs so it wouldn't be as easy to get in.

I do have onesies, might have to try that. We haven't officially started potty training but she has peed in the potty 3 times. I just need her to figure out how to tell me she needs to go #2. I was thinking this would be the answer! LOL Bunsy!!!!

Seriously, I wouldn't be able to deal with it. I probably would have yelled so loud the first time she'd be scared to do it again.....
Poop was NOT by forte.

OMG Bunsy that is totally me! I am so disgusted by it and I'm gagging while trying to clean it up. Then I think I can still smell in on her hands that I wash them a million times. I keep repeating all day....mommy says don't touch your booty, hands out of your diapes, ewww gross, etc, etc, etc. I hope it sinks in soon!

Ewww that is gross! Why do our sweet little adorable children sometimes do things that are SO nasty? (Like eating boogers?) Blech.
Hang in there! The only other thing I can think of (besides putting her in onesies and clothes that would slow her down) is to praise praise praise when she doesn't do it or even offer treats and bribes when she doesn't. Hang in there!

What about sundresses/long tops and leggings-type shorts. Something not loose so she can't get in there?
Is there a "big girl" type reward she could earn if she doesn't touch her diaper for so many days?

I do have to remember to praise her when she doesn't do it or reward her! I like the dresses idea too!
