Nope. I think it is good to take breaks from technology, but I couldn't keep my house free of it. The computer/email/skype are so good with communicating long distance with relatives. I wish we could have seen my Grammy who lived in Boston via skype when I grew up.
We don't watch much TV, only have one in our house and it's not on our main floor. But we use computers/ipads all the time.

I take a technology hiatus when I travel. My parent's don't have WiFi or fancy gadgets and I only use my phone for emergencies anyways.
I do love my tv and kindle though... so I couldn't do it long term

Nope!I live far away from everyone! Facebook, twitter, and sometimes skype are my only ways of communicating with relatives in the Philippines! I wish we had all this when I was younger.....I feel like I don't miss out as much with my Filipino family now with all this technology! I love it! Weekends we do spend less time on our phones and computers since we are all home at the same time then!

Nope! So many schools are now becoming tech savvy. Kids can use their phones, etc. Classrooms where everyone has a iPad/tablet to do all their work on and take home.
IMO they are holding their kids back and not preparing them for the future!
