Thanks for sharing Sharon! It can be so stressful to bring the kids to church, and sometimes we even debate not even going, but its so reassuring to hear that we are doing the right thing. Great article!

The only way kids can learn how to behave in church is to GO TO CHURCH. Practice, practice, practice.

I saw someone post this yesterday and loved it. My favorite part of our church is that there is no nursery. Children are supposed to be in church with their parents. My boys have been coming with us since they were born and the past two weeks I've had to bring my 2 and 3 year old boys to church all by myself. I got SO many compliments on their behavior both weeks and credit it to the fact that they don't know any differently. They've always sat quietly with us.

Wow! Thanks, Sharon! This was awesome. I skip out on summer church because DD tends to be distracting to me and others, now, I will not skip for this reason anymore.
