First, read this interview with a completely open mind. thehairpin.com/2013/09/susan-robinsonI consider myself pro-choice, NOT pro-abortion. I see the need in certain situations. BUT I think it is 100% wrong to do a late term abortion, ESPECIALLY on a HEALTHY baby. If the mother doesn't want it or can't keep it, there is adoption. If the baby has some disability but can live a quality life then it should have the right to do so. I researched the procedure to do a third term abortion and it's not as grotesque as a partial abortion (which is illegal in the US).

Wow, Samantha. This is a very tough issue. I gave birth to my daughter when she only 31 weeks. I have watched this baby grow into a perfectly normal 6 year old child with no abnormalities or physical issues. Late term abortions drive me wild with grief when the only reason is I don't want a baby now. Babies w/ extreme deformities, that is a whole different story. I could not consent to an abortion in that case for myself, however, not everyone would make that choice or could live with that choice. For women in those dire circumstances, that choice would have to be between the mother, the father, the doctor and God and hopefully that are fully informed of the potential risks and potential consequences. It would be so much easier if our world was black and white with no gray areas.
