Hi Ladies,
I know it's not quite October but my DDs are already talking Halloween, especially costumes. What do you have going on this year?
DD1 wants to be a ballerina, which should be nice and easy since she's in ballet. I figure we pretty much have an outfit she can wear, we may just need to adapt it for the weather and figure out layers to wear underneath so she doesn't freeze.
DD2 wants to be a princess, which one TBD. First she wanted to be Cinderella, then she said Snow White, now it's Mulan. I need to pin her down because if we commit to a certain princess there is no going back!!!
Man my girls are girly girls. At least Mulan is a fighting princess, right? (Sigh.)

DD2 and I went to a garage sale this spring and she found a leopard leotard with skirt and headband and she had to have it. I told her it would be her costume and she couldn't go back. So far so good - she's been wearing it around the house the last few days. Just need to get some leggings to go underneath the skirt since I'm assuming it will be chilly by Halloween.
DD1 has been bugging me about her costume ever since then, so we went to Goodwill over the weekend where she picked a figure skating outfit. We will be looking for leggings for that one also! And probably a shirt to go underneath.

DSD (depending on if she is with us that night or not) will either be a monkey, or scooby doo.
DD on the other hand, we have no clue yet. I need to go get her something. She's outgrown all of her princess dresses we've had over the years. Time to upgrade.
And baby...well...I just picked up the most darling onesie this weekend...it says "Don't scare me, I poop easily!" PERFECT! lol

I let DD pick hers. She's 15 months. She chose a watermelon. I held it up with others and she kept choosing it. Anytime I show it to her she smiles so big.

DS says he wants to be "a cute little bunny". DH wants DS to be a superhero or Ghostbuster (DH has his own Ghostbuster costume he made a while back so they would match). I told DH that DS gets to pick. We'll see what happens.

Ian has talked about being a medieval archer, Elphaba (from Wicked) or a ninja. He mostly has what he needs for all three, so there's no hurry to decide.

We haven't decided yet. I want to try and find something matching for all 4 of us, but haven't figured out what exactly that will be yet. Any ideas?!

Preston wants to be a policeman.. and he's very adamant, however I don't want to spend 30/40 dollars on a costume... bit maybe if he will wear it two years in a row it won't be so bad. El has her birthday tutu... so I'm thinking if it's not too cold out, she can be a ballerina

DD1 wants to be a cat. We found some cute ones at wal-mart that were fairly inexpensive.
We let DD2 pick her costume at the store, she chose a ladybug.
