We have a wedding to go to as a family next weekend. If it was you going would you wear a black skirt or a pair of nice dressy pants?
For ds: Would you do a long sleeve dressy shirt (what is considered to be a blouse for girls) or short sleeved? Or would you do a nice polo? For pants he would wear dressy pants.
Note: Fancy venue. Break in between (long chunk of time in between the wedding and the reception meaning 3-4 hours).
What would you do?
Thanks much.

Forecast for Saturday is mid-60s. I'd put DS in short sleeves cuz kids tend to run around and get hot.
I'd wear whatever I was most comfortable in or that I could wear the most comfortable shoes. I hate having sore feet.

If it is at a fancy venue, I would wear a skirt or dress and have my DS wear a dress shirt.
I tend to err on the side of dressing more formally for most occasions.

If it's a fancier venue, I also would err on the side of dressier garments. I would wear the skirt and have DS in a dress shirt.
Do you know what you're going to do for the gap between the ceremony and reception? I would consider a change of clothes and a space to run around for DS if it's feasible.

Renee we have no idea what we are going to do during our gap in between the wedding & the reception. My mom said to go to como or see my gma. Como the kids could get dirty. Now we are thinking of having a friend watch the kids during the ceremony then get them b4 the receoption.
