My Mom's Chili Recipe 6 pounds hamburger, browned and drained 1 T chili powder 1 1/2 t cumin 1 T black pepper 2 t paprika 1 t garlic powder 1 T brown sugar 1T garlic salt 3 medium onions, chopped 4~15 oz. Dark Red Kidney Beans 2~15 oz. Tomato Sauce 2~15 oz Petite Diced Tomatoes Mix all together and cook for 1 hour. This makes a lot so we usually just do 1/2 the recipe for our family of 4. There is still plenty leftover which tastes even better the next day! It's also good to do the full recipe and freeze 1/2 for another meal later!

This looks simple enough for me! I hate when chili calls for 500 ingredients and 3 kinds of meat, I don't have that kind of money. Thanks for sharing!

This is my new favorite crock pot chili recipe:
Crock Pot Chicken Chili
Two-three frozen chicken breasts One package of taco seasoning One package of dried ranch dressing One can of tomatoes with green chiles One can of black beans One can of cannellini beans One can of kidney beans One can of vegetarian baked beans Frozen corn
Place in crock pot in the order above. Do not drain the beans. Do not stir. Cook on low for 6-8 hours. Take chicken out, shred, and mix in with the other ingredients. Serve with corn chips.
