My hubby wants me to make a non thanksgiving turkey dinner, next weekend. I've never made one, and I'm looking for your best tips on how to get a moist juicy turkey on the inside and a yummy crispy skin on the outside!!
Thanks!!

I put mine on a rack inside one of those oven turkey bags.

I cook my turkey at 350* for x amount of hours, I always google how long to cook a turkey per pound. I usually stuff my turkey with green apples and onions both chopped up. I stuck butter between the top layer of skin and the meat, some butter on top with pepper and salt (I usually let the kids help me with the butter/salt/pepper). Water in the bottom of the pan and cook for about 30-45 minutes, take it out and toss on tin foil and continue to cook. You can toss some of the water from the bottom of the pan on top of the turkey to put some liquid on it, about 45 minutes before it is done cooking take the tin foil off and let it cook some more, helps with making the outside crispy. Let the turkey sit for a 20 minutes before cutting into it so all the juice doesn't run out.

Are you making gravy? If so get some Wondra it makes gravy easier then regular flour.
I toss all the apples and onions, I only use them to flavor and keep moist. When getting the turkey ready make sure to clean both ends to make sure you take out the neck and the flavor pack if they have it in there (I have never used it for my gravy) and clean it well. Also if you take the wings and fold them up above where the neck would be and behind the back it will help keep the turkey still.
