Do you have a carbon monoxide detector in your home?

Ours just broke, so we'll be getting a new one this week, but we have always had a working one on the second floor

Yes Angel you are correct that MN law requires them now. However it can only be enforced if you are a licensed foster care/daycare provider or need a building permit and the city comes to inspect. The law is that they must be within 10 feet of every bedroom (I work with corporate foster care homes for people with developmental disabilities so we always get checked by the county or state every year).

No. It wasn't the law when our home was remodeled and we've been lazy about it.
