I dont have a problem with it....I actually kind of like it! The girls see my tattoos all the time...I dont think a barbie with tattoos will phase them.

It's supposed to be for adult Barbie collectors. My DDs see my DH's tattoo all the time and like temp tattoos so I don't think this would phase them either.

Sorry just read the article! I don't get why parents get all hot over something that's marketed towards adults!

Jen...it is because they want to create some sort of sick perfect utopia, gag me. I bet moms of millions have something to say about this, something stupid, irrational and irrelevant I am sure

that's true supermommy -- i went on that million mommy site and did gag! imagine the barbie of the 50's never changing! while i don't really want my daughter tattooing her body i firmly believe in freedom of speech in virtually everyway -- and that extends to marketing a product. i'm sure some of these dolls will end up under the xmas tree this holiday season and you know what, they probably look like the child's mommy...cuz face it, lots of mommies have tattoos and what's wrong with that? not a *amn thing! so, having said that...i won't be buying one, but i also won't be buying any other barbie for that matter! (my dd never did bond with barbie!)
