Has anyone ever experienced a recurrent mild (100.7 and under) fever with their baby. DS is 3 months old and has a mild fever in the morning, every couple of days. He's not very fussy, eating ok (for him) and bright eyed and alert. Lots of wet diapers. He's a bit congested but has been since he was born. I'm taking him to the doctor this afternoon to talk about it along with the reflux thing but this fever thing is bothering me. Its weird too because its around the same time every day and after his afternoon nap it's usually gone... what the heck!?

I have a friend who's son was feverish for what seemed like on and off for months... I can see if I can get her to pop on here. She'd probably have some insight for you!

I just talked to her and she asked me to relay this message to you...
That they never really found out why, other than constant ear infections which he needed tubes for. Tell her to demand blood work!
And you know doctors.. unless there is a specific reason, they won't want to do it, but if the fever lasts a long time, I'd agree.. demand it.

If it doesn't turn out to be an ear infection or UTI (which I'm thinking could be the cause) I will demand blood work. I honestly don't have a lot of faith in doctors because the aren't good listeners and they dont take parents very seriously.. but we'll see how this goes.
Thank you for getting that info though from your friend!
