The Literary Tour of England was amazing. I'm only sorry it was wasted on my high school self and not my adult self (not that I didn't get a lot out of it then, but I think I would appreciate it even more). It was a trip over spring break (plus a few days) we did the following (and more):
-Canterbury Cathedral - Wordsworth's home and field of golden daffodils (referenced in "I wandered lonely as a cloud") - Wuthering Heights and the Bronte home - Shakespeare's birthplace, plus tour of the Globe theater they were re-building - Cat's performed in the the theater designed for the show - Oxford University - London sights - Tower of London, London Dungeon, Jack the Ripper tour - Keats' home - Dickens' home - Cliffs of Dover

Oh wow. That's amazing. What an opportunity! Was it a program through your high school?

Yes, it was coordinated by 2 English teachers. They went every 3 years and it was open to sophomores, juniors and seniors. I went my sophomore year, it was a great experience!

I haven't been to: Oregon (but will be there in 4 weeks!) California Arizona Nevada Utah New Mexico Idaho Montana Alaska
Most of those are from driving to visit my Grammy who lived in Boston each summer, traveling for rowing in college (we drove through a lot of states) and a summer trip that took us south to Texas, across the south to the east coast and up the east coast.
