Monday! Loving the smell of spring and rain. The stinky is finally washed away and now the good spring smells can flourish.

My alarm did not go off this morning and didn't wake up until DD's bus had already been by. Tried gettig her up, but 3 hours later is is still not quite ready-- the harder I try to push the less she tries to do anything. Trying to stay patient and not yell, but really tough....she had some really frustrating behaviors

Hang in there Deanne. Kids and their button pushing can get exhausting!

Whew just got home from urgent care. DD2 broke her arm today and didn't tell us!! Basically -- she fell off the monkey bars at recess, landed on her arm and back. She didn't want to cry so stoically stuck it out. The only sign something was wrong was that she took a nap in the afternoon at the ILs' (she never does that!) and was quiet at night. I kept checking her forehead and thought she might be getting sick -- here she had a broken arm! We left my ILs' and she asked me to buckle her seat belt and that's when we knew something was up. Her arm was swollen but nothing really glaringly obvious, I thought it might be sprained /strained. but nope -- broken. poor cookie - PLUS we just started swim lessons and soccer! DANG.
