I hope you all outside enjoying the cool/breezy day! It sounds like lots of wet for the next week. I had choir rehearsal this morning and now I'm trying to decide what I want to do with the rest of the day. There are lots of "shoulds" looking at me but I'd rather look for a "want".

DH went to Sam's this morning and got 5lbs. of ground turkey-- so I spent time cooking 2 lbs with italian spices and garlic, 2 lbs.with only season salt, and one lb. as sloppy joes. Jus twaiting for them to coll more then freezing them-- great to take camping or quick suppers. Cleaned the bathrooms too. Now just relaxing with the kids while he is at the gym.

Hi Ladies! Hope you're having a great weekend. I zipped out to Trader Joe's and Costco this morning to get my errands done by 10 am … now it's laundry, house cleaning, hanging with the kids. Oh and we did zip out to a few garage sales and got DD1 a new bike--it's purple, her favorite color, and in great shape. So happy to have a bike for her for $25 instead of the $150 we'd spend for new.

Just got home from the Albertville Outlet Mall. I took the boys to get their feet sized and get new shoes for summer. I feel like a terrible mom after finding out I'd been stuffing DS2 into shoes that were more than two sizes too small. Poor kid!

I tagged along with DH to Buffalo to meet friends at a brewery/taproom. Got out of being productive.

Beth, I've done the same thing -- bought shoes for DD and realized she was wearing shoes much too small!! Sometimes our kids forget to tell us those basic things like "Hey my shoes are too small!!" So no need to feel guilty, it's just a teachable moment that our kids need to tell us these things. Bunsy, that sounds like fun!! Social time is needed for happiness. We did some organizing around the house today … not too much, I'm still feeling sore throat/ stuffy / a bit yucky. Now DH is watch the Wild game and I'm getting on the computer finally!

Cleaned the house this morning. Went to the park with DS and then dinner with good friends at Mancini's. Time for bed.

Horribly cold in church this morning. I tend to run hot all the time and froze this morning. Brrrr.
I'm happy to be home in my sweats and fuzzy slippers. I may even heat up the bed buddy bag to put around my neck. That will feel lovely.

We decided to skip church. I am dragging today and have a volunteer meeting at 2p. Between a long work week, allergies hitting hard and now cramps all I want is my blanket and couch.

Being in the choir is the only thing that keeps me going to church. I would be too tempted to sleep in otherwise.

Next week I help with Sunday School so, that was why I opted out today. Time to play some Guess Who.

It was a good day for laying low!
We were having a nice day at home when DH got in the shopping mood--we headed to the MOA around 4 pm and picked up a few things for DDs & DH & let the kids go on a couple of rides. I'm a bit wiped out but we had fun so it was worth it.

Moving forward with volunteer event...the kick off is Friday, so hoping it goes well. I could use an extra weekend day for sure, I didn't feel like I had enough genuine downtime. It's looking like Memorial Day weekend is the first opportunity for that .
