DS called at 2 am. I HATE when my phone rings in the middle of the night. I hate even more when it is DS1. Jail? Hospital?
His cat had a seizure and he was looking for comfort and advice. Poor guy.
He is here now as his apartment is being shown today. I'd forgotten how much he talked. No, I hadn't forgotten. i'm just not used to it!

Yup middle of the night phone calls are no good, glad it wasn't jail or hospital.....sorry his kitty had a seizure.
I got my finicky kiddo 2 pair of the pajamas he likes (certain fabric) hoping to track down more it was all Kohl's had, got my mom a new watch for Mother's Day and me bras and underwear...how exciting being an adult is.

I really like the watch I found my mom. I saw it and it just looked like her style (my dad said she needs a new one).
Just got done skyping with them and they put their house on the market this week! So hard to believe that soon the house I grew up (and where my parents have lived for 31 years) won't be ours.

That is kind of a weird feeling Debbie. I remember those days of home not being home anymore.
DH called from his beerventure in Hudson to see if I wanted to join them for dinner. So, dinner was at The Red Cow in Edina. Excellent food. Busy place.

Deb, hang in there with your parents' house going on the market …. it's a hard when that happens, such a life change. I know that both DH and I will have a hard time if/when our parents move. Mine aren't discussing it but his are thinking maybe in 5 years or so. Boo!
We had a fun, busy weekend. Got errands done yesterday and drove up to my parents' after dinner. It was fun to see my parents and hang out, I brought my mom her Mothers Day gift and card since I won't see her next weekend. I know they really appreciate it so I'm glad I made the trek, even though it's now getting late and I still have "week ahead" prep to do. Ah well, sometimes it is what it is and I don't want to be the kid who only shows up when it's "fun at the lake" time in the summer, you know?
