Makes me sad that MoMs has gotten so quiet. I know everyone is busy. I know life changes. I know people go in different directions. Doesn't mean I have to like it.
Have a fabulous weekend if you pop by.....

i know. I read more than I post most of the time but it is getting a little bare. I spent the day with errends getting ready to head to the camper for the weekend. We spent Saturday night last week -- our first time in this camper-- and really are working on getting it set up with all we need. Shopping for the meals as well as other things we need to have-- we will be running some stuff back and forth, but I would like to be able to keep as much as I can there for the summer.

The only thing that bums me out is that there is no wifi at the campground and we don't have smart phones (yet) so no internet for the weekend.

Maybe no internet is a good thing Deanne. It makes you live in the moment.
I ran to target for mother's day cards to get them in the mail quick. I tried to order my Mom flowers to be delivered on Monday. I got a call back from 1800Flowers saying that there is not a single florist that delivers to her town. Crazy.

I think it's sad too, Bunsy. I keep hoping it will pick back up. I miss all the MOM's convos!
Does your mom live in a small town? That's interesting, I live in a pretty small town but we still have a florist near us that delivers.

She does live in a small town but there is a cluster of small towns and a large town 15 minutes in 2 different directions. I can't believe no one delivers there. Oh well. Saved me money!

I have no idea if I have Mother's day plans. I left it up to the "adult" children. Which means, there probably are NO plans.

DH just ordered the children to be here at 11 am to go out for lunch. He asked if I had talked to them. I said that I had left it up to them.

We had a really great day here. My itinerary went like this: beautiful morning run with my BFF, church, a delicious brunch, home for a lovely and much-needed nap, yard work while the kids played in the mud, late dinner, watched some baby videos of the kids, now a little down time before BED! Now I just wish I could pause a few hours and not have Monday morning arrive quite so quickly …

I had a lovely morning of church - great music singing with the contemporary choir. I had a chance to visit with a few people after church which was lovely. The kids and DH went out for lunch with me - good food (Culver's) and many laughs. I took a 2.5 hour nap this afternoon. DS2 gave me permission to save laundry until tomorrow. It was a great day until DS2 brought the van home smoking and leaking. oh well. That will wait for tomorrow.
