Sarah- Yes, I do go lap swimming when I can.
You just go when the schedule indicates that lap swim is open and then claim an open lane. If all the lanes are full, I get in that lane. I wait until they stop and then ask if I can join them and we decide which side we will each go on. If it is really busy I try to pick a lane with people about my pace and then when they both stop decide if we will swim clockwise or counterclockwise. 90% of the time I have my own lane, about 10% I need to share with one other person. I haven't had to do the 3+ people in a lane at Shoreview. Everyone is really nice and willing to share. Late evenings is when it is less crowded.

That's probably the only time I can go anyways... 8:00ish and on... Thank you! I don't know how I'd do sharing a lane since I haven't swam in forever! I used to be good.. but I'm definitely out of practice!

Usually when you share you just take one side, so you just stay on your side of the line.

Just checked out DH's cousin's wedding website--- attire is listed as "formal casual" --- anyone have a guess as to what that means?

I just thought it was odd...I am guessing (knowing DH's family) that there will be a variety of attire from casual to formal.
I am letting DS sleep in his living room fort tonight, hopefully I don't regret this in the morning.
