I’m just curious where people like to shop for clothing? And more specifically where you like to shop for work clothes? I just haven’t had any luck lately finding clothes, both casual and work. But I need work clothes more than anything. I’m on the thin side, so not all stores have sizes that fit me. I’m in a rut and need to update my wardrobe. So....where do you like to shop?  |

I'm pretty cheap, so I hit up either Kohl's or Goodwill.

Kohls is my first go-to. If I can't find anything there I usually have good luck (although a little more expensive) at Vanity or Maurices.

I used to have good luck at New York an Co., but I haven't been clothes shopping in a LONG time.

I usually shop at Kohls and Target because they have the best clearance and I'm cheap. Once I start working again I'll be ok spending more on myself and there are a TON of stores I can't wait to shop at!

Gordman's is pretty cheap. They are in Roseville. Try Turnstyle, they have clothes for work that are used but in good shape. Herberger's has good sales, too.

Kohl's, JCPenney and Herbergers are where I buy all my work clothes. I feel like each store goes in spurts, some seasons I have luck at a store and the next season I won't like anything they have.

I have had good luck at Goodwill (suits and dresses), Target clearance, Kohl's clearnce/sale and the Dress Barn sale/clearance. There is a store in IGH called Upscale consignment that has some nice things-- cost a little more that Goodwill (maybe double). I actually even saw clothes at Pawn America--might be another idea to try.
I used to go to petite sophisticate/casual corner but they seemed to have closed some and they are harder to find, but their sale/clearence was decent too.

Just remembered -- -don't know where you live but there is a Herberger's clearance center that opened recently in Maplewood in the same strip mall as Jo Ann Fabric across from Maplewood Mall.

I usually go to Nordstrom Rack, Hot Mama (about to become EverEve I guess?? BLAH don't like the name change) if there's a sale or I have a gift card, then occasionally Marshalls & Macy's.
