Add to that kids who respond to illness atypically and I'll have to agree with you. SO glad my kids are grown. That was one of the hardest things about parenting in my opinion.

Congestion for over a year, allergist refuse's to do allergy testing. CT came back fairly normal. Getting ready to say screw the allergist and put him back on the allergy meds.

I'd put him back on the allergy meds too. You can have non-allergic rhinitis which causes the same symptoms as allergies but isn't testable. Stinks. If you have found a medication that helps him, what's the harm in using it? Good luck.....or find another allergist?

Sorry he's struggling. If claritin works for him, I would do that and ask your primary for a new referral if it doesn't work.
I am proud of myself for not giving in to the pressures of work. I had planned to go for a walk and sent my aunt a text to see if she wanted to join me (the park is next to their house and between my two work sites today). She didn't text back and I was waffling on going or just working and leaning towards just working. She replied and I decided to meet her still. We had a great talk and just over a mile walk and then she offered to make a quick lunch. She threw together a salad with pears, brie and chicken. Such a good balance decision.

Yay for putting yourself first on occasion, Deb! We never do that enough even though it's so good for us.
Tough week here -- DH has been sick since Saturday night, so this is Day # 3 of being in solo parenting mode, trying to keep everything juggling and the kids to church camp and fed plus my full-time job and a little freelance work. BLAH. If it's not one thing it's another. Last week I was busy with a volunteer activity … I just wish we could have one normal week you know?
ANYWAY … praying that the rest of us stay healthy (DH has strep).
OK I'm going to do a couple of quick tasks and then I'm going to BED!!!! Sad but man I need a good night's rest.
