I like babies that don't move yet. No baby proofing required.

For sure! Lots of snuggling and feeding bottles in store for you, Bunsy!! And diaper changing! Which I feel is not a big deal -- before I had kids I thought "Gross!" But once I had kids it quickly became, "Whatever." Not a big deal!
As your 30th wedding anniversary approaches, what are your thoughts about how you've made it work? Any advice or insight to share as you reach this milestone?

Deb, if you read this today -- I hope you're having an amazing time on beautiful hikes, reading, relaxing & soaking in the jacuzzi. I'm sitting at my desk while my computer conducts updates. ... Just sayin' ...

Many things led to our 30 year success. Here is a sprinkling of them: 1. We were both always older than our years, even as children. 2. We married young (20 & 21) so just finished growing up together 3. He is an oldest child and I'm the baby. He takes good care of me and I'm adorable. 4. In our minds, there was no option other than being together. 5. Hang in there in the rough times (and there were some awful times). They don't last forever. 6. Laugh 7. Overall compatibility and acceptance of differences.

Bunsy, Nice list! I like that he takes care of you & you're cute!! Laughter is so important -- and I need to remind myself when I'm steaming mad that we'll get through it and it will soon be forgotten!

Let Day Two of 'babytime' begin! Actually, he was up at 6:30, drank a bottle, chatted for 45 minutes or so and went back to sleep.
Such a good baby. I just forgot how much time even GOOD babies take!

Sigh. Baby took a late nap and shows no signs of slowing down to sleep. Oh well, I tried. We'll make it through and I'll sleep VERY well tomorrow night.
